The following births were recorded recently at Houlton Regional Hospital:
NASON — A son, Daniel Douglas Nason, to Natasha Tarr and Brian Nason of Houlton on Sept. 14, 2008. He joins a big sister, Meriah.
The following birth was recorded at Irwin Army Community Hospital at Fort Riley, Kansas:
HESPE — A daughter, Addyson Rayne Hespe, to John and Stephanie McCarthy-Hespe of Junction City, Kansas on Aug. 13, 2008. Addyson weighed 7 pounds, 9.5 ounces and was 20.75 inches long. Maternal grandparents are Bob and Ann McCarthy of Houlton. Paternal grandparents are John and Lorna Hespe of New Gloucester and Karen Hespe and her companion Rick Tibbetts of Poland. Maternal great-grandparents are Joseph Skehan and the late Virginia Skehan and Harold and Janice McCarthy, all of Houlton. Paternal great-grandparents are John and Deb Hespe of Jackson, Wisc. and Robert and Anita Brousseau of Sabattus.
