The Caribou golf team wrapped up its regular season yesterday with a match against Fort Kent, and is now preparing for the Penobscot Valley Conference state qualifying tournament at JaTo Country Club in Lincoln Monday.    The Vikings, coached by Neal Genz, most recently dropped a match to Presque Isle by just six strokes Friday afternoon at Caribou Country Club. The Wildcats finished with 171 strokes, compared to 177 for Caribou.

Ellis Pelletier was the co-medalist, shooting a round of 40 to tie Presque Isle’s Travis Dyer for the honor.
Also for Caribou, Caleb Chapman carded a 44, Pat Thibodeau a 46 and Taylor Jepson and Matt Kamm both had 47s.
The Vikings’ record fell to 3-5 with the loss.
