Boy Scout Troop 184 in Caribou recently celebrated it’s 45th anniversary at which time several men were recognized during a special Boy Scout Court of Honor.

Tom Albee, a member Boy Scout Troop 184 of Caribou, obtained his Eagle Scout rank in 1973. Albee, a certified registered nurse anesthetist, was recently named the 2008 Clinical Instructor of the Year by the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists, resides in Lewiston. He is the son of Eva Albee of Caribou.
Troop 184 boasts of a number of accomplishments achieved through the past 45 years. The local troop members attended the World Jamboree in 1983, as well as the National Jamborees in 1985,1989 and again in 1993.
Also recognized during the recent event was the first Four Generation in Scouting honoring the Keaton family. Rogis Keaton was the first Scoutmaster of Troop 184, serving the troop for 40 years.
Jared Keaton, earned his Arrow of Light in the Cub Scouts and is now a member of Troop 184 holding the rank of 1st. Class Scout after two years in Scouting.
Kevin Keaton, involved in scouting for approximately 15 years, earned his Arrow of Light in Cub Scouting, his Eagle Rank in Boy Scouting and currently serves as Assistant Scoutmaster of Troop 184.
Vaughn Keaton earned his Eagle Scout rank in Troop 184, severed as Scoutmaster for more than 27 years and overall has been involved with Boy Scouting for more than 47 years.
Troop 184 boasts of a number of accomplishments achieved through the past 45 years. The local troop members attended the World Jamboree in 1983, as well as the National Jamborees in 1985,1989 and again in 1993.
Other impressive accomplishments within Boy Scout Troop 185 are highlighted by the fact that 48 scout members have achieved the rank of Eagle Scout, with a few more expected in the near future.
