AWA Pro Wrestling makes it successful return to Presque Isle with “Fall Brawl at the Forum” Saturday night, Oct. 4. The event will be held at the Northern Maine Forum with a start time of 7:30 p.m. The doors open at 7 p.m.
This great night of wrestling action will feature the WWE Legend, Bushwhacker Luke. Bushwhacker Luke is one half of the Bushwhackers tag team. From the moment he joined the WWE, Luke was instantly liked by the fans, especially the children, due to his antics. He was also licking the heads of the fans and his partner alike and swinging his arms as he marched around the ring.
The Bushwhackers had enormous success in the WWE. Luke was involved in feuds with the Rougeau Brothers, the Natural Disasters, and the Beverly Brothers.
Now, Luke will travel to Presque Isle to see all of the great Aroostook County fans.
Making his debut will be the Egyptian Giant, Pharaoh, who stands 7 feet, 2 inches tall and weighs 350 pounds. Pharaoh has dominated everyone he has been in the ring with. Who will step up to the Egyptian’s challenge?
Also on the card will be a North Atlantic Heavyweight Championship match as the champion, John “The Bomb” Bryar, will defend against the hometown wrestler, Kyle Wells. With the crowd behind the local, Wells, will that be enough to help him capture the gold?
There will also be a Potato on a Pole Match. The winner of this match will be the man that is able to gain control of the potato from the top of a pole that is 15 feet off the grounds. Others scheduled to appear will include Television Champion Sammy Makua, Doink the Wrestling Clown, the Scufflin’ Hillbillies-Larry and Sonny, Luke Robinson, Kenneth Banks, and many more.
“When AWA Pro Wrestling returns to Presque Isle, we are going to do everything we can make sure everyone has a great night.” Commissioner Damian Main said, “‘Fall Brawl at the Forum’ is going to be a night that every fan in attendance will remember for a long, long time.”
