    The Aroostook Medical Center has announced the following birth:
    Howes – A boy, Hadlee Dean Howes, born to Kelscee Curry and Eric Howes of Mapleton on August 8, 2008. Maternal grandparents are Heather Curry and Stacy Turner of Caribou. Paternal grandparents are Lorraine and Kirk Jandreau of Mapleton and Myron and Lil Howes of Ashland.
