Mark attended Spaulding High School in Barre, Vermont. After high school, Mark served in the US Navy. He, also, attended Wells-Ogunquit Adult Community and was a certified timeshare agent. Mark worked at selling timeshares in Wells, Maine, and traveled doing log home shows for Katahdin Forest Products. Mark enjoyed this job because he traveled and met nice people and made a lot of friends. Mark, also, worked at Moosehead Motor Sports in Greenville, Maine. He missed all his good friends there. He then went to carpentry and woodworking, which he really enjoyed. Mark enjoyed helping "Buckwheat" with his dirt bike and joking with him. Mark loved the sunsets at Moosehead Lake and Spaulding Lake. He was always showing his sunset photos. Mark loved feeding the ducks at Spaulding Lake. He had ducks that would come to the steps and eat from his hand. Mark also enjoyed sitting by the lake with a fire crackling in the outside fireplace. He enjoyed cooking, fishing, camping and playing horseshoes. He was the first to help anyone who needed help.
