GINGERBREAD FUN — Sue Shain owner of Danforth’s Cornerstone Restaurant hosted a Gingerbread decorating event that turned out to be an extravaganza. More than 30 children and their mothers attended the gala. The gingerbread, frosting and candy decorations overwhelmed the downtown restaurant and the children were in heaven designing their house while sampling the goods. Shane will be hosting two more holiday events; an Old-fashioned Little Girls’ tea party for ages 5 through 12 on Sunday, Dec. 14 at 12:30 p.m. The cost is $5.25 per person. On Saturday, Dec 20 there will be an Evening of Candlelight and Christmas Carols. Reservations must be made by Dec. 15. Call 448-2028.
