On Tuesday the 18 of Nov., Emma Saunders turned five years old. Her birthday was celebrated with family and friends at Aunt Mary’s home, with dinner and birthday cake. Emma, proudly declaring that she was now a big girl, stated she could not wait until she was six years old. After council not to wish her life away so fast, everyone reminisced about themselves at this age. Even an 88-year-old woman attended on this late evening, her nanny Lillian. Emma’s grandmother Lillian Currie sang a solo Happy Birthday song followed by Emma opening many gifts.
