Alexandra DeNardo and Scott Samuel Duff were married July 26, 2008, at Hermon Baptist Church, Hermon, Maine. The Reverend Doctor Kevin G. Grant performing the double-ring ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Paul and Paula Palmisano of Monument, Colo., and Jeffery and Teri DeNardo of Belford, N.J. The groom’s parents are Melvin and Sheryl Duff of Hodgdon, Maine.
Presented in marriage by her fathers, the bride was attended by her two sisters Krista DeNardo and Samantha DeNardo as maids-of-honor. Bridesmaids were Robyn Straubel, sister of the groom, Danielle DeNardo, sister of the bride, Courtney Holloway and Kristie Warner, friends of the bride.
Joel Duff and Chad Duff were their brother’s best men. Groomsmen were Aaron Quint, friend of the groom, Ben Straubel, brother-in-law of the groom, Mark Palmisano, brother of the bride, and Tony Colella, friend of the groom.
The bride’s sister, Krista sang “Who am I” and a prayer of blessing was offered by Reverend Garrnet Chute of Hermon Baptist Church. A reception followed at the Hermon Baptist Church with many special friends and family members in attendance. Special guests were the bride’s grandmother Tina DeNardo and grandfather Nick Greco as well as the groom’s grandparents Glenn and Flora Duff and Sam and AnnaBelle Fast.
The bride is a graduate of Midwood High School in Brooklyn, N.Y., and a Pensacola Christian College graduate with an RN, BSN degree. Ali is currently a traveling nurse working in the field of Oncology.
The groom is a graduate of Greater Houlton Christian Academy. Scott was also a Pensacola Christian College graduate with a criminal justice degree and a graduate of the Maine State Police 57th Recruit Training Troop. He is currently a Maine State Trooper in southern Maine.
Scott and Ali spent their honeymoon on an Eastern Caribbean cruise. The newlyweds reside in Lyman at present, but will be relocating to the Augusta area in the near future.
