PRESQUE ISLE – The city, along with the Presque Isle Area Chamber of Commerce, will partner for a Business After Hours/Open House on Monday, Jan. 5, 2009, from 5 to 6 p.m. at City Hall on Second St. This will provide an opportunity to meet the 2009 City Council and department heads in an informal setting. In other city business, the Industrial Council has two meetings scheduled Jan. 5 at City Hall, the first at 3 p.m., followed by another at 3:20 p.m. City Council will hold its first session of the new year beginning at 3:30 p.m. at City Hall, at which time a new chairman and vice chairman will be selected.
