HOULTON — Alfred Hanscom of Presque Isle turned in the best time of the day Sunday during the Wild Katahdin Trust Snow Run.
FINISHER – Ruth Hare was the winner of the “Guts” Award. She was the first female over 60 to finish.
The 33-year-old, who covered the 5K course in 18 minutes flat, crossed the finish line 1:27 minutes ahead of second-place finisher, Shawn Berry, 27, of Presque Isle. Littleton’s Angela Ewing posted the best women’s time of 21:41, good enough for third place overall.

TEAM AWARD – The Aroostook Football League Cleary Knight team members came out in force to particpate in the annual Wild Katahdin Trust Snow Run. They were the recipients of the Male Team Award.
