Sportsmen’s dinner
The CSF Sportsmen’s will be holding a turkey dinner/game tasting supper from 4:30-6 p.m. on Saturday, March 21 at the Houlton High School cafeteria. Guest speaker following the meal is Hank Hough of Kingdom Dog Ministries. Tickets limited to 200. Price is $5 advance or $7 at door. Tickets are available at Mac’s Trading Post or call Military Street Baptist Church office at 532-9458. Door prizes will be drawn and the grand prize is a weekend guided fishing trip with lodging.

Pancake breakfast
The Linneus Sno-Sports Snowmobile Club will hold a Maine Maple Sunday Breakfast from 6-10 a.m. at the clubhouse on Sunday, March 22.
Menu will be pancakes with Maine Maple syrup, bacon, homefries, coffee and juice. Cost is $5 for adults and $3 for children under 12.
Soccer clinic slated
The Northern Maine Board of Approved Soccer Officials will hold its annual clinic for prospective soccer officials at the New Sweden Elementary School in New Sweden.
Bob Stedt of New Sweden will be the clinician.
The first meeting will be held on Monday, March 16 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Those attending will determine the meeting dates for the remainder of the course.
Clinics will be held in the Houlton area and St. John Valley if there is interest shown.
Any one 18 years of age or older who is interested in officiating the game of soccer and becoming involved with the fastest growing sport in Aroostook County is urged to attend the clinic.
There will be a $35 fee for the clinic.
