Happy Losers

By Shirley Sides
On March 11, the Happy Losers met at the Congregational Church vestry in Island Falls. We opened our class with our pledge and roll call. There were 12 ladies that weighed-in and 11 attended the meeting.
Loretta Bouchard was the loser of the week and Lois Green was runner-up. Great job ladies. Our secretary and treasurer gave the reports for the week.
Our leader, Jackie Pratt led the program and her topic on healthy eating was taken from an article in the Weight Loss Planner. It was very interesting to learn how many vegetables, fruits, proteins, and whole grains we should have every day.  Our meetings are always great and we usually end it with Riva’s joke.
Please feel welcome to attend our group every Wednesday from 7:30 a.m. to 8:45 for the weigh-in and the meeting starts at 9.  Call 365-4884 for more information.
