Lister/Knowlton VFW Commander Doug Michaud, left, and VFW member Carroll St. Peter recently took to the stage at the Caribou Middle School, unfurling an American flag. The two later showed the students the proper way to fold a flag. The special program took place during a morning assembly at which winners in the “What America Means to Me,” essay contest were announced.
