AYBL names first girls’ all-stars teams

In the first all-star voting for the 7-8 grade level basketball season,  officials with the Aroostook Youth Basketball League (AYBL) announced the selections for both the North and South Team for the 2009 season.
Many County girls were nominated and many more were deserving of nomination, as the girls divisions seemed quite closely contested throughout the season. Organizers hope this can begin a tradition within the AYBL community that fosters both good will and stronger competition in the coming years.
These young ladies represent their communities on and off the court with pride and dignity.
