Births announced

    The following births took place at the Aroostook Medical Center in Presque Isle:
    CORMIER TWINS – Two girls, Paige Leigh and Emma Jo Cormier, born on Feb. 20, 2009, to Carlene Howes and Tommy Cormier, of Presque Isle. Maternal grandparents are Kirk and Lorraine Jandreau, of Mapleton, and Myron and Lillian Howes, of Ashland. Paternal grandparents are Merle and Dorothy Cormier, of Mapleton, and Nancy Cormier, of Presque Isle.  
    BARTLEY TWINS — Two boys, Holden Isaac Bartley and Pierce Ashton Bartley, born to Katie and Chad Bartley, of Presque Isle, on Feb. 20, 2009. Maternal grandparents are Mike and Sandi Bragdon, of Presque Isle. Paternal grandparents are Ron Bartley, of Caribou, and Barb Bartley, of Mars Hill.
