Volunteers who sold tickets for their ten spectacular baskets filled with a variety of gifts and certificates were extremely happy with their time spent at the Southern Aroostook Trade Fair held on April 4 and 5.
“We more than met our goal for this particular project and the recipients were excited about their winnings, said Darlene Guy, parent volunteer for the Hodgdon Project Graduation event.
Lucky ticket holders included, grand-prize winner Brian Fitzpatrick, the Kayak package; Skyler Campbell, kid’s activity basket; David Harbison, movie basket; Dana Belyea, Easter basket; horse basket, David Guy; carriage ride, Karen Donato; kitchen basket, Shirley Miller; pamper me basket, Peter Folsom; baby basket, Maxine Todd and baseball basket, Hokan Lundquist.

SPECIAL DELIVERY — Makayla Crandall, left and her sister Maia accept the baseball basket for Hokan Lundquist of South Portland. The basket included tickets to the Portland Sea Dogs game and a free overnight gift certificate to a Portland Hotel. Lundquist had been working on the L.C. Logging booth with the Crandall girls’ grandfather, Ross earlier in the day.
