Remember rural schoolhouses

To the editor:
    I just want to let you know how much I enjoyed the special section on churches. It was great!
    I hope when the special section on schools is printed in August it will include rural schools.
    I was a teacher at the Ross School on Egypt Road in 1940-41. I also taught at the Sawyer School in Parkhurst Siding in 1941-42. I guess you’d have to say those were the “olden days” — there were great kids, wonderful parents and I enjoyed both years.
