St. John, Leo James, 59, Caribou, at Bangor, July 23, 2009.    Arrangements are in the care of the Mockler Funeral Home, Caribou.

 

    CARIBOU – Leo James St. John, 59, died unexpectedly, July 23, 2009, at Bangor. He was born at Caribou, October 19, 1949, the son of Irene St. John. He was a graduate of the Caribou High School and Bates College. He was employed at the Caribou Starch Co. for four years, Birds Eye Division of General Foods for three years and at Burger King for 20 years. He was a member of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church.
    Surviving, in addition to his mother of Caribou, are six brothers Edward St. John of Presque Isle, Conrad St. John of St. Francis, David St. John, Romeo Bouchard and Louis Bouchard all of Caribou and Daniel Drost of Belgrade; one sister, Lily Searles and her husband Wendell of Caribou; several nieces and nephews. 
    Funeral services were held 11 a.m. Saturday, July 25, 2009 from the chapel of the Mockler  Funeral Home, with the Fr. Aaron Damboise, officiating.  Interment took place in the Old Holy Rosary Cemetery.
