SCARBOROUGH – Lillian Guy Lamore, a longtime resident of Maine Veterans’ Homes in Scarborough, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 20.
Lillian was born on October 17, 1933, in Fort Kent, Maine, the youngest of 11 children. In 1953, she married Donald Lamore, who predeceased her in 2004. She is survived by four children, Jeff and his wife Nikki of Saco, Diane D’Agostino of Redlands, CA, Connie of Hampton, NH, Sue and her husband, Ken Fox, of South Portland, and five grandchildren. She enjoyed gardening, crafts, taking care of her family and spending time with her grandchildren: Jason, Justin, Ben, Nate and Danny.
She will always be remembered by those who knew her as a strong and generous person. The family would like to thank the people at Maine Veterans’ Home in Scarborough for their kindness and the wonderful care they provided during her illness.
