Legion Riders support CPD patrol

    CARIBOU — Fred Patterson, director of the American Legion Riders motorcycle group, recently presented a donation to the Caribou Police Department to be used to purchase safety equipment for the department’s 2009 Harley Davidson Road King police motorcycle.

    Caribou Police Chief Michael Gahagan stated he was very appreciative of the support shown by  the American Legion Riders organization and all other local clubs regarding to the police motorcycle program.  
    Currently the Caribou Police Department has two officers, Douglas Bell and Keith Ouellette who have been extensively trained to operate and patrol with the motorcycle.
