WASHBURN – Paul R. Rand, 54, died Sunday, August 2, 2009, at his sister’s residence. He was born April 28, 1955, in Presque Isle, the son of Norma (Lint) Rand Langley.
He is survived by his two sons: Paul Rand Jr. of Bangor and Nicholas Rand of FL, and seven grandchildren. He also leaves behind four brothers: Sonny Rand of Washburn, Donald Rand of Fort Fairfield, Ronald Rand of Washburn, and Stephen Rand of Presque Isle; four sisters: Catherine LaVasseur of Presque Isle, Barbara Cockram of Bassett, VA, Diane Tarbox of Washburn, and Tami Norsworthy of Anchorage, Alaska; as well as many nieces and nephews.
A graveside service with military honors will be conducted 11 a.m. Thursday at Fairmount Cemetery, Presque Isle.
