Walk for Life

    HOULTON, Maine — The Pregnancy Care Center’s annual Walk for Life gets started with registration tomorrow evening from 5:30-6:30 at the Career Enhancement Center on North Street near TD Banknorth.
Prior to the two-mile walk, during the registration period, Military Street Baptist Church is supplying games, music and face painting to help set the tone for the family-focused fund-raiser.
Organizers and supporters are looking forward to a good turnout and good weather. Following the fund-raiser, participants can make sundaes with ice cream donated by Houlton Farms Dairy.
Sponsors are donating prizes for the walkers who raise the most money. The four age categories and prizes are: ages 6-10, a Nintendo DS; 11–14, a portable DVD player; 15–18,  a $100 Walmart gift card; 19 and over, a $100 Walmart gift card.
