Presque Isle residents invited to Caribou

To the editor:
    This Saturday, Sept 5th is Caribou’s Big Birthday Bash weekend! We’ve been planning forever it seems, and we’ve got a whole host of things lined up. We want to include everyone from Presque Isle too so please join us in celebrating our shared birthdays, and come to Caribou! We’re going to have a parade, the UMaine Black Bears marching band is joining us, along with the Bangor Band, and the St Andrew’s Pipes and Drums too! We’re going to have a community barbecue at Caribou High School after the parade, and entertainment through the evening until the fireworks! You won’t want to miss the stilt walkers and the fire eater!     We’d be so pleased to have our birthday neighbors join us, there’s something for everyone! Peace, love and birthday balloons (has it really been 40 years since Woodstock?), we hope you’ll join us this weekend in Caribou!
