HAYSVILLE, Kan., and CARIBOU – Derek M. Strelka, 31, died Sept. 4, 2009, of pulmonary hypertension. He was born May 25, 1978, in Caribou. He graduated in 1996 from Caribou High School. 
He is survived by his wife, Mary; son, Jensen; parents, Richard and Nadine Strelka; twin brothers, Mark and his wife, Carrie, of Fort Fairfield, and Todd and his wife, Shantell, of West Jordan, Utah.
Funeral services were held 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 11, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1909 South Rock Road, Derby, Kan. A memorial service will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 26, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 67 Paris Snow Drive, Caribou.
