Referendums focus of business breakfast

    PRESQUE ISLE — Here’s your opportunity to learn first-hand about the two November referendum questions on Excise Tax and TABOR II. If adopted, each will have broad policy impact on the State of Maine. Learn from the experts just what the impact might be.
    The event takes place Wednesday, Oct. 14, with breakfast scheduled for 7:30 a.m. and presentations to follow between 8 and 9 a.m. Audience questions are encouraged. The meeting will be held at the Edmunds Conference Center, Northern Maine Community College. Presenters include: Terran Bragdon, CEO, Maine Heritage Policy Center; and Geoff Herman, director of state and federal relations for the Maine Municipal Association.
