The Houlton Parks and Recreation Department has extended its youth basketball registration deadline to Tuesday, Nov. 3. The department is offering two programs this winter – Tykes basketball for grades 1-2 and Peewee basketball for grades 3-4. Registration flyers have been distributed throughout the Houlton area schools or may be picked up at the Houlton Recreation Department.
This program will have weekly practices and games. Cost for each program is $25 for Houlton residents and $35 for non-Houlton residents. For more information, contact the recreation department at 532-1310.
