    THERE WAS NO SIGN OF FROST, let alone snow, on these pumpkins, pictured at Stewart’s Farm on the Houlton Rd., taken just days before the first storm of the season hit the area.
Many a trick-or-treater ventured to the site to select just the right pumpkin to carve into a jack-o-lantern for Saturday’s Halloween festivities. The National Weather Service is predicting highs in the 50s and lows in the 40s, with a chance of showers on Saturday.
