SOCCER STARS — Evangeline Goodall, left, and Liz Goodall of Southern Aroostook were among those named to the Maine Soccer Coaches Regional All Star squads.
Those all-stars who were seniors were also able to participate in the 15th annual Maine Soccer Coaches Senior Bowl all-star games for 2009 at Hampden Academy Sunday .
For the boys, Cody Robinson (junior, back) and Dakota Sleeper (senior, midfielder) of Southern Aroostook were named to the Boys Eastern Maine Class D squad;
For the girls, Martha McPartland (senior, back) of Houlton was named to the Girls Eastern Class B squad, while Melissa Duffy (senior, forward) of Kathadin and Evangeline Goodall (senior, forward) and Liz Goodall (senior, forward) of Southern Aroostook were named to the Girls Eastern Class D squad.
The West Seniors beat the East 5-4 in the boys game, while in the girls contest, the West beat the East 6-2.
