FIVE GENERATION PHOTO OP — A family gathering in Fairfield in November provided the perfect opportunity for those present to get a five generation picture taken. Pictured, seated, is Irene Vivian DeForest, of Presque Isle, holding great-great granddaughter Cassidy Liberty.
Standing, from left: Ron Liberty, grandson, of Madison; Trena Cilley, daughter, of Fairfield; and Reid Liberty, great-grandson, of Waterville. According to the family, the photo is similar to one taken when Reid was an infant. The pre-holiday photo session was unique in that all participants, with the exception of Vivian, represented the first for their respective generation of the family. Trena is the eldest of four girls in her family, Ron is the oldest grandchild, Reid was the first-born great-grandchild and Cassidy holds the honor of being the first great-great grandchild, born on Oct. 3.
