    PRESQUE ISLE – Faye Clark Dinsmore, 85, went to be with her Savior, Thursday December 17, 2009, after a long battle with parkinsons and other problems. Faye was born September 2, 1924, in Easton, the daughter of the late Edward L. and Aralda A. (Hayden) Clark.Image
    She graduated from Easton High School in 1942, and in September of 1948, she graduated from Eastern Maine General Hospital under the Cadet Nurse Program. Faye was employed in the Emergency Room there and was head clinic nurse for twelve years. She did private duty nursing and spent three summers as camp nurse at Pine Tree Camp on the Belgrade Lake.
    On November 26, 1960, she married Paul Dinsmore with whom she would share forty-nine years of marriage. They moved to New York State in 1964 and she served as a hospice volunteer for twelve years, was a director for Wesleyan Women, served on the church board and was secretary for eight years, and was also a Sunday School teacher and church librarian.
    Faye and Paul moved back to Maine in 1998, where they became members of the Presque Isle Wesleyan Church. She dearly loved her family and grandchildren, and the home displayed her love for counted cross stitch, needlepoint, crewel work, and loved working in her flowers. Besides her husband Paul of Mars Hill, she is survived by a son David and his wife Eunice, two grandchildren: Tiffany and Andrew all of Rochester, N.Y., three brothers: Vaughn Clark, Larry Clark both of Presque Isle, Carl Clark and his wife Janet of Ravenna, OH, as well as several nieces and nephews, and grand nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a brother Mearl and his wife Joyce, two sisters-in-law Glenda Clark, and Erma Clark.
    Funeral services were conducted 2 p.m. Monday December 21, 2009 at the Duncan-Graves Funeral Home 30 Church St., Presque Isle with Pastors Larry Palmer and Carlos daCruz officiating. Friends called from 1 p.m. until time of service.
