HOULTON — The Houlton Rotary Club presented a check to the Houlton Little League in the amount of $14,000 for a total of $20,000 over the past two years to sponsor the Houlton Rotary Field.
“This is a tremendous project which will allow hundreds of area youth to enjoy playing both baseball and softball,” said Rotary president John Tribou. “This donation was made possible by all the hard work and dedication from Houlton Rotarians and the surrounding community with this past year’s Houlton Rotary Auction.”
The Rotary field is one of three Little League fields being built in recent years. The Houlton Rotary Club is proud to be a part of Houlton Little League and provide a platform for many local youth to enjoy “America’s Game.”Contributed photo
