TAMC welcomes 20 to VIP group
PRESQUE ISLE — The Aroostook Medical Center recently welcomed 20 new employees into its Veterans-in-Partnership (VIP) group at a breakfast held at A.R. Gould Memorial Hospital. VIPs are employees who have been employed by TAMC for at least 20 years.
“In a rapidly-changing industry, our VIPs bring the experience and wisdom needed to help us achieve what matters most — providing excellent patient care,” said Dave Peterson, TAMC president and CEO. “They serve as an example to others in the organization.”
The 20 new members of the VIP group are: Dale Beaulieu, Karen Carmichael, Lynda Closson, Annette Copeland, Cindy Deschaine, Patricia Dillon, Alan Dunn, Freeman Dyer, Margaret Flewelling, Cheryl Grass, Gail Hallett, William Kemp, Frederick Lafrancis, Timothy Larrabee, Sherry Mantlow, Cathy Miller, Stillman Miller, William Milliard, Sue Porter and Julie True.
TAMC’s VIP group has grown to 195 employees. TAMC, the largest employer in Aroostook County, employs over 1,000 people.
“These employees have made a commitment to working in healthcare for a substantial portion of their lives,” added Peterson. “We recognize the difference they make, and we appreciate their contributions.”
