Students in four categories created prize-winning posters for the National Children’s Dental Health Month Poster Contest. Their work was done to incorporate the theme — “Make me smile.”
Stacey Ramsey, district art teacher, supervised and guided students during their classes at Mill Pond School in Hodgdon.
The four categories were by grade — K, 1st and 2nd, 3rd and 4th, 5th and 6th. Each of the four categories, in turn, had 1st-, 2nd- and 3rd-place winning posters that will be entered in the county level contest this month. Then, it’s on to Augusta for the state contest next month. Hodgdon has had a winning poster at the state level for several years.
