Homeless shelter receives donations from Park Street Center

    PRESQUE ISLE — Aroostook County Action Program (ACAP) at the Child and Family Center, Park Street, in Presque Isle, decided to collect and donate items to the local homeless shelter for their community project. Families and staff from the center donated items for the shelter, including food, clothing, office and personal care. Children in the morning traditional Head Start classroom presented their donation items to Susan Mitchell, director of Homeless Services of Aroostook. These items will be used to help many local individuals and families that utilize shelter services.
