The Houlton Higher Education Center is hosting two upcoming events for area residents.
Fabric Painting Class
The Houlton Higher Education Center (HHEC) and Leigh Griffith announce another Fabric Painting class on Saturday, May 15, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the HHEC. You are encouraged to bring your own material. Supplies will be available for purchase ($40 starter sets). Wear old clothes and bring a bag lunch. The class fee is $50. Job Fair Friday May 14
If you are looking for work or for a better job you will not want to miss the “Working in Maine” (and around the globe) Job Fair at the Houlton Higher Education Center on Friday, May 14 from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. Business and employers will be available to discuss your job prospects. Agencies will be on hand to help you with the job search. Job seekers should come appropriately dressed and groomed to make a good impression on a potential employer. Some organizations and employers planning to attend: TEMPO, U.S. Customs and Border Protection, McCain Foods, Loring Job Corps, U.S. Army, ALLIES , Gardiner Health Care, MDOT, Lane Construction, CLA, ACAP, Me.
