I have a definite shortage of birds right now—-only see a nuthatch occasionally as he comes to eat the sunflower seeds. Still have several big black crows that arrive faithfully every afternoon and like to perch in my big birch tree before swooping down to catch something in the grass by the tree. The stray cat is still around and is still a yowler — greets me with real loud yowl about every morning. Guess it’s his way of saying “good morning.”
