It’s Shortcake season
To the editor:
On June 24th people will be seen with satisfied smiles on their faces from Mars Hill to Caribou, from Easton to Mapleton!
The Presque Isle Area Chamber of Commerce will be making, selling and delivering their famous strawberry shortcakes that day. With the assistance of KFC/taco Bell providing their scrumptious biscuits as a base, the crew will be building their great shortcakes on North Street once again.
The sale will start at 9 a.m. or as soon as the volunteers are ready to start building these yummy treats. If you order 10 or more the PIACC will gladly deliver them to your door between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. Locations outside city limits have specific delivery times.
The Presque Isle Area Chamber of Commerce has been hosting this fund-raiser for a number of years. It has become known as a sign that summer is here! For the past two years, although we have increased our capacity, we have sold out.
