Garfield is an adult neutered male living at a Halfway Home Foster Home. He is leukemia tested and has all current shots. Garfield is nervous; he worries and hides throughout most of the day when a lot of activity is going on, but he faithfully comes out of his hidey place at 8 p.m. every night to get his fair share of attention and to later sleep next to human. He ignores other cats and will fake a growl if he thinks something or someone might hurt him, but it is a fake growl as he runs and hides if someone actually growls or hisses back at him. “He is huge and hansom with the most gorgeous green eyes I have ever seen on a cat,” said Halfway Home Pet Rescue President Norma Milton. “Garfield would love to be an only pet and have your undivided loving attention,” she added, “Once he knows you well, he loves you to pieces.” Garfield is free to a good home. Halfway Home is a licensed state animal shelter, and a 501c3 organization which works to help stray, abandoned and abused cats.
