LIMESTONE — Staff and Board of Trustees members of the Robert A. Frost Memorial Library of Limestone cordially extend their  invitation to the official Library Dedication on Monday, June 28 at 3 p.m. during an open house followed by refreshments from 4 to 6 p.m.     The open house and dedication celebrate the recent expansion of the facility, which more than doubled the size of the library. Additional space isn’t the only thing that’s increased at the facility; not only are there three more  computers for patrons to utilize, the facility now offers wireless availability so that individuals can use their personal laptops more effectively.
Though the collection of books has stayed the same, library patrons will find it much more convenient to utilize now that all the books are kept on the same floor for the first time in over 20 years.
“Before, older titles were housed in the basement and even in a room at the old fire station (back when the library and fire station were “neighbors,””, explained Librarian Rea Caldwell.
She also mentioned how the elevator has been irreplaceable in allowing better access for patrons of all ages.
Not only will the new expansion  be ceremoniously celebrated on June 28, the volunteers who were crucial in making the project a success will be recognized for their efforts.
