Davidshofer receives master’s degree

    NORMAN, Okla. – Erik Henri Davidshofer graduated from the University of Oklahoma in Norman Saturday, May 15.
    He received his master’s of arts degree in political science with a concentration in public policy. Davidshofer is considering continuing his education to receive his doctorate degree.
    Davidshofer, the son of William and Claire Davidshofer, graduated from Presque Isle High School in 2002.

 
Smith named to Colby College Dean’s List

    WATERVILLE – Mimi E. Smith, a member of the Class of 2013 at Colby College in Waterville, was named to the Dean’s List for her outstanding achievement during the spring semester of the 2009-10 academic year.
    Students whose grade point averages were 3.67 or higher were named to the Dean’s List.
    A graduate of Presque Isle High School, Smith is the daughter of Charles and Marguerite Smith. She is studying theater and dance and sociology.

 
Adams graduates from Franklin Pierce University

    RINDGE, N.H. – Brandon Robert Adams of Presque Isle graduated from Franklin Pierce University in Rindge, N.H. May 17 with a bachelor of arts degree in political science.

 
Area students named to Husson University Dean’s List

    BANGOR – The following Aroostook County students were named to the Dean’s List at Husson University for the spring semester 2010: Kay O’Clair of Ashland, Nathanael J. Donovan of Blaine, Kassie J. Lovely and Michelle A. Osgood, both of Easton; Michael L. Hamilton of Mapleton, Stephen Burtchell of Mars Hill, James Holmes of Portage, and Nathan M. Carter, Dylan D. Collins, Kaitlin B. Lambert, Caitlin M. McPherson, Nicholas K. Norton, Corey D. Collins, Desiree’ L. Luzzi, Amanda L. Post, Amanda E. Underwood, Dion Francis and Janna L. Clukey, all of Presque Isle.
    To be named to the Dean’s List, students must earn a 3.4 or better grade point average on a 4.0 scale.
