Pasture walk offered

  ORONO, Maine — The Maine Grass Farmers Network (MGFN) will host two pasture walks this weekend for producers and consumers who want to learn about pasture-based livestock production. The first walk will be Saturday at 2 p.m. in Benedicta at the Martin Kilby Farm.
Host Justin Jamison will explain his production practices at his farm and discuss his research on raising Holstein bull calves. The farm has a great view of Mt. Katahdin, something that will make the pasture walk more enjoyable.
