Circus is coming to Patten, Danforth

    The circus is coming to the Southern Aroostook area as Walker Brother Circus has scheduled shows for both Danforth and Patten as part of its 2010 North American tour. The show features second and third generation circus performers from around the world.
    On Friday, two shows are scheduled for 5:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. in Danforth. Each show is about 90 minutes in length. While four shows are scheduled for Patten, Friday, July 23 and Saturday, July 24. Show times for Friday are 5:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m., while Saturday’s shows are 3 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. at the Patten Ball Field lot. The Patten show is sponsored by the Patten Recreation Department and Patten Playground Committee.
    According to a press release from the circus, “the list of breathtaking acts includes performances such as aerial high wire, juggling, tons of comedy, along with an astonishing array of rare featured international stars. Adults will be in awe at the performers stunning athletic ability, as children are captivated by the clown’s comedic antics. This world-renowned international cast guarantees a lifetime of memories for all who attend.”
