Thousands lined Main Street in Fort Fairfield on Saturday, July 17, taking in the sights and sounds of the 63rd annual Maine Potato Blossom Festival Parade, including these two unidentified young ladies. Equipped with bags to collect goodies tossed from parade entrants, lawn chairs to relax and watch the fun and dressed in pretty sundresses and hats, they appeared to be thoroughly enjoying themselves as they sampled some of the treats they acquired. With lollipops in hand, the youngster on the left watches the festivities as her friend on the right gets moving, arms swinging and body swaying, to the music of the Southern Victoria Pipe Band. (More Potato Blossom Parade photos will appear in a future issue.)
