ATV safety course
    An ATV Safety Course for all ages will be held Sunday, Aug. 22 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Hodgdon Fire Department. Lunch will be provided.
    The safety course is sponsored by the Aroostook Riders ATV Club.

Hunter safety course
    A Hunter Safety Course will be held August 24 to September 4 at the Maliseet Gymnasium on the Foxcroft Road in Houlton.
    The course, sponsored by the Houlton Band of Maliseets, will run from 6-8:30 p.m. on Aug. 24 and 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on September 4.

Wild Turkey Federation banquet
    The National Wild Turkey Federation will hold its annual dinner, auction and gun raffle at 6 p.m. on Aug. 28 at the Houlton Elks Club.
