Henderson earns Professional in Human Resources designation

    HOULTON — Chris Anderson, president of the F.A. Peabody Company announces that Chelsea Henderson has earned the designation of Professional in Human Resources from the Human Resource Certification Institute (HRCI).  HRCI offers four distinct certifications; the Professional in Human Resources designation demonstrates that the successful completion of a comprehensive examination that assesses generalist knowledge of the HR field, including strategic management, workforce planning and employment, HR development, compensation and benefits, employee and labor relations, and occupational health, safety and security.  The goal of HRCI is to serve HR professional and advance the profession by providing excellence in human resource certification.
ImageChelsea Henderson    Henderson began working for the F. A. Peabody Company as a receptionist in 2004.  By 2008, she was promoted to Human Resources Manager and appointed as corporate secretary and clerk for the corporation and its subsidiaries.  Chelsea now serves as the Vice President of Human Resources.  “Chelsea’s has a unique ability to promote and encourage the best interests of our employees” states Anderson.
    Henderson is a graduate of Hodgdon High School.  She received her Associates of Arts Degree in Business from the University of Maine at Presque Isle in 2007.  She completed her Human Resource Management Certificate from the University of Maine in Augusta in 2009 and is enrolled at the University of Maine in Augusta pursuing her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management.  She is a former president and current member of the National Association of Insurance Women.
    She resides in Hodgdon with her husband, Josh.
