    Wade’s town office is officially open at its new location in downtown Washburn, with newly-hired Office Clerk Cheryl Sperrey ready to assist Wade residents with all their municipal needs.

 

    WADE — The Town of Wade is pleased to announce that their Town Office is now open for business at the DJT apartment building at 1280 Main Street — Apt 2, in Washburn.
    The office is for the convenience of Wade residents to pay their municipal bills, collect taxes, purchase dog licenses, marriage licenses, and birth and death certificates will be available. Tax maps for Wade will also be available for reference or copying, as well as other municipal business.
    The office staff is Cheryl Sperrey and the hours are: Monday and Tuesday during school vacations and harvest break from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and lunch from noon to 12:30 p.m. On Wednesday, the office is open from 8 a.m. to noon and closed on Thursday and Friday.
  For times not during school vacations, the office will be open on Monday and Tuesday from 7:30 to 10:30 a.m. and will reopen from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. On Wednesday and Thursday, the office will be open from 7:30 to 10:30 a.m. and will be closed on Friday. Please note that these hours will be changing in January; you may phone the office at 455-5885 for any further information.
