Vote for Roger Sherman

To the editor:
    I am supporting Senator Roger Sherman because he has the experience needed to tackle the difficult issues facing our state in the next two years. Roger is hard working and committed to improving the anti business climate brought about in Maine by years of burdensome regulations and high taxes.
    Roger has consistently been rated very high by the Maine Economic Research Institute for his voting record on business issues. Roger’s work in the field of agriculture has been very beneficial to farmers in Aroostook County and the state.
    The problem Maine faces is that Roger and legislators like him are greatly outnumbered in Augusta. This can change only by electing candidates like Roger Sherman.
    As a former teacher, Roger has worked to give young people the tools they need to succeed. I know he will continue to work to slow the rate of spending, while reforming our failed tax system to create a Maine that will allow our children to reach their full potential.
    Having worked with Roger, I have seen a man who is dedicated to making Maine a better state in which to live, work and raise our children. Please join me in voting Roger Sherman for Maine State Senate on Nov. 2.
