OTC students appreciated
Public Works visit
To the editor:
I would like to take this opportunity to thank Gerry James and his co-workers at the Presque Isle Public Works for their simple act of kindness last week. Mr. James sent a few of his operators and drivers up to the Opportunity Training Center here in Presque Isle at a mere suggestion of interest. They took time out of their busy pre-winter season to show the student body the inner workings of the plow trucks and grader. The students were in awe of how large the equipment was and the staff was in awe of how patient and accommodating the men were.
So during this season of giving, thank you for setting a great example for us all.
