Poor are being pushed to the brink

To the editor:

I wonder how much more the Senators, the President, the Governor, the so-called Representatives — both Democrats and Republicans, and the rich are going to crucify the poor! This bill that the President wrote, I wonder if he even cares about the poor! How much does it cost us every time the plane takes off?

We can send food, money, our military overseas to protect other people. But what about us! The Social Security and Medicare that they want to take away from those that really need it. Where is the justice in that? Sure some who get it don’t deserve it especially those who spend theirs on illegal drugs and alcohol then cry that they don’t have enough to make it through the month.

Why is our military still in foreign countries? Bring our troops home! That would help with the national debt! How much do we spend each day to pay for these wars? Bring them home and close all our borders.

The money that over the years, and years, and years that our presidents and the other people involved that were supposed to protect the Social Security from ever being used for anything but social security — why wasn’t it paid back? This falls back on the poor people to pay back, and it wasn’t even the poor person’s fault.

I feel that no one cares for the poor, But this country should realize what happened in Egypt will happen here! It’s just a matter of time. Keep pushing the poor! Keep taking things away from them and making them suffer. When it happens, those in authority over us will fall! The poor are always being picked on. I would be careful. I hear rumors of an uprising! God bless the poor!

I wonder do these people who are running our country really believe in God? Do they know what God teaches in the Bible about the poor? I could quote you verse after verse. The Bible is a handbook to life. The President always says “God Bless America.” Does he believe in those words or is it just natural for people to say those words?
